So here I am again,
Another blog for yet another passion. This time though, it's the one that keeps me sane, which I feel is very important in my line of work. I'm a truck driver. So between driving the truck, sleeping, and just living daily life on the road, this is what I've been doing.
The project that I'm working on now is the Hooded Baby Blanket from Lion's Brand Pound of Love yarn. (the pattern was on the back) I picked this particular one because I was told that it goes pretty fast, and I was looking for a quick in between project while I searched for yarn for my next huge project. I was so wrong. In the few days that I've been busy crocheting away at this thing, I don't really have much to show for it yet. I don't even know who to give it to, or how to sell these things and even for what price. Not to mention this thing has been a pain in my rear since I started it.
The next one I want to get started on is a Japanese crochet pattern for a shawl, a big one. The yarn off the site that I got the pattern from was going to cost me in the price range of around $170. Which that is an expensive shawl, I wouldn't pay that kind of money even if it was made by Vera Wang. So I've been pretty busy here lately trying to find a substitute to use for the pattern.
As soon as I figure things out with this blog site such as posting photos, and creating links, I will start rolling those out so you can see what I'm trying to do, and possibly struggle along if you want to.
